Eden Micro finance Bank was established in 1992 as Ayegunle Community Bank to focus on the financing needs of its immediate environment and take advantage of the large opportunities that exists in the entrepreneurial, or start-up financial market. The changing needs and expanding opportunities of the market, led to a name change in 2004 to Kajolowo Community Bank. With the new name, the Bank achieved some improvement in its various banking activities, especially in their customer profile, which increased from 150 to 600.
To
face the challenges ahead of the millennium, the Central Bank of Nigeria
moved up the paid up share capital of Community Banks to Twenty million
Naira only,

OUR VISION A reference point in the entrepreneurial finance market by achieving a leading role in microfinancing. In our decision to operate in the micro financing sub-sector of the Banking Industry, we resolved to a leading role in financing entrepreneurs and start-up businesses. This we believe is the road to developing an industrialized Nigeria. To achieve this dream, we have developed tailor made products that will mobilize the required fund to finance the various needs of our customers. OUR FOCUS Our focus is to develop an international standard micro finance institution, as we have designed our strategy round low risk asset creation focusing on stock/share facilities, Lease finance and other lending structures that have low risks. This will not only protect our share holders funds, but the depositors’ exposure to us. OUR PEOPLE/ORGANIZATION We have in place, a collection of time tested Professionals who are highly qualified and passionate about creating values. To completely harness the creative potentials of our people, we have developed a dynamic business product called the ‘’BUSINESS CRUSADE’’, with unmatched capacity to respond to marketing support, skills or strategy development requirements of our customers, especially those that are start-up businesses. To consolidate our capabilities, we have entered into local and International alliances with Institutions in complementary establishments and with core competences in their areas of focus. All of these are aimed at supporting the needs of our customers. |
